I repented of my sins after I was saved and the Holy Spirit dwelled in me. Unfortunately, Pastor Bevans and i disagree on this fundamental of the faith. We are saved by God's grace through our faith in Christ. Its not 9f our own works. Turning away from your old ways is a work because it's considered a requirement requirement to accept God's gift of salvation. It would be no different than requiring water baptism to be saved.
